If my groin injury cooperates I'm doing Iroquois tomorrow and Sunday. I haven't decided which day I'm going to run up the hill but I'm think I run the loop and then head down Southern Pkwy for a couple miles.

My groin strain is acting up a little today. I'm going to ice it tonight and rest so hopefully it will be fine.

To all local runners, I will be at Iroquois at 7am and park near the Ampitheatre if you want to join me for a few miles.

I'll be there at 4am.

This park is actually part of the Papa John's 10 Miler and KDF Mini.

I was thinking about forgoing my journey to Bernheim and changing it up so I don't get bored of that place *unlikely, but still*. I was thinking about running Cherokee and surrounding roads or doing the same thing you planned, Joe.

I won't be there that early, that's for sure. But maybe I'll see you on the way out!!!!!!

By the way, you rock =D> for getting out that early. I thought I was cool for 6AM. LOL

Oh, I'm silly. Wups.

For the record, anyone planning on running tomorrow should expect to dress for RAIN. It IS going to rain.

Also, it's important to note that the forecast tells that it will be getting cooler as the day progresses...so you might want to get out EARLY! Like 4AM, say.

I plan to wear my new *gulp* running tights.

I haven't worn them.

I'm terrified, actually.

I'll be in all black, because I just bought a nice new C9 jacket that has a hood. LOL

I love buying new running clothes.

Wait, season 1 the television show or one of their albums? Either way, I approve.

if anyone wants to run at night I have been hitting Seneca Park around 8:30pm. It's super flat and is LIT UP. I try to do Cherokee's loop several times a week, but with the daylight change I can only do it Fri. morning, and anytime on Mon. or Tues.. I like the hills and scenery at Cherokee, the fact that half the road is sectioned of for runners/walkers kicks ass too. Seneca has a concrete track that is a 1.2 mile loop, it works cause I can take my gear and let off some steam after work. Cherokee is 2.4 hilly miles. I am leaving town for my nephews B-Day sunday morning, so I won't be able to meet up with anyone this week. I'll run Seneca at 6:30pm tomorrow

I wish I could meet up but that is too late for me! :(

I think my goal this week is to try to hit up Cherokee one day after work.

When I first started running again last year, I vowed that I would pick a new park every month around the city to run in. When I moved back to Louisville, so much had changed and improvements had been made and I wanted to experience everything.

It is exciting to run at a "new" park that you aren't familiar with. I haven't quite stuck to the "one a month" rule but I do try one out and stick with it for awhile until I get burned out. Then I try a new one.

Something along that line is what me and Joe started with when we started this site, but it just never panned out. I totally love the idea, but after working all day, it's just easier to run around the house here so I don't have to drive anywhere. I guess I just need to start taking my gear with me and go to a park after work before I come home.

I really want to run Cherokee. I'll have to see what I can work out. That's a little late for me to do regularly, but maybe I can work out something here and there.
