Post 'em!!!!

Not sure for me. I will have to update later. I plan to run but my groin is acting up a little today so I'm going to see how that goes. If all is well after work, I will go for a run. 3-5 miles is the plan.

No running for me tonight. I will be getting home late and my groin is bothering me anyway so just a little rest and ice tonight.

6.6 miles, scheduled speedwork.

I actually did my speedwork on the T-Day course, which maybe wasn't smart but I did run faster than my schedule called for.

After warmup, I did 3x1600 at near race pace with 800 recovery jogs and that put me at about 55:00 from start to finish of the race course. I ran strong during the first 5 miles but as soon as that was done, the 1.6 that followed were pretty hard for me to get through, even though they were at an easy pace.

Either way, I'm really hoping I can finish the T-Day race in about 55:00. And I got in a great workout today.

How do you know how far you went without running on a track? I was always curious about that for anyone who doesnt use a Garmin or track. Do you map it before you go?

An abysmal 2.4 miles. I'll explain in my blog.

Does 15+ hours on the couch count for anything?

I have routes laid out already, so I know what I'm running before I go. In the event that I don't know, especially on easy runs, I can typically pace myself appropriately and come darn close to my expected mileage. In those cases though, I always run longer JUST in case I'm running too fast.

But yeah, I map everything out. Iroquois is great because it's marked and it makes it easy for someone like me. :(

You all should see my RW training log and all my routes! I rarely run the same route, so I always have a new one on there!

You have to get a Garmin. Do I need to talk to Joey and hint to him that would be the perfect Christmas gift for you?

That would be sweet. I don't know Joey, but if he buys me a Garmin for X-mas, he'll be my new best friend.

...Oh wait... I think I missed the point of that post... :D

Kl0wn, I'll see what I can do...but I think it might be too much work for me.

He and I went shopping together so he knows what I want. He wanted to see me touch one (yes, the GARMIN) so he could be sure that I was sure.

Here's the issue with him buying it for me for Christmas though--he always gets me really great gifts and if he gets me one of those, that cuts back on the OTHER gifts he'll be able to get me. I LOVE his gift-giving skills!

I'll put in a word for both of you. Joey seems like a nice guy, I'm sure he wouldn't mind picking up 2. \:D/

It looks like you are going to need to buy that for yourself and then get all the other gifts too. Thats a win-win!!!!

Yeah, I'm thinking that's the way to go, but we'll see. My money is tight--I actually have the money to buy that but it would cut into my gift giving budget!
