Just wanted to touch base with you about Saturday's group run.

Bernhein Forest at 7:30am. The temp is supposed to be about 30 degrees so dress appropriately.

I'm pretty excited to be running with you folks! It should be a lot of fun.

kl0wn-- Make your way up to Louisville and join us for an 8 miler!!!!

:walk:

No need for concern. We're not even thinking about pace, just mileage. I usually run alone but I enjoyed running with Tom last Sunday so I'm really looking forward to it.

It's been a couple of weeks since I got out on the trails so I'm happy about that too!

There are only a couple of trails that I feel are "runnable" enough for us. One that I take all of the time actually kicks my butt, sometimes have to walk a portion because it's basically all uphill/downhill so it's hard to run up, dangerous to run down. But it's a safe trail otherwise, that's why I take it all of the time.

I really wish the Cafe was still open in full service, it was such an awesome place!

There's a 13 mile trail there that I've never had the pleasure of hiking. I plan on hiking it sometime this winter and then running it (if it's safe to run) in February/March once before the mini. I figured that would be a great training run for the mini.

So you think if I do the 13 mile trail, I'll be able to fly to the moon with 4 small babies, a horse and a big screen TV, after staying up for 35 days straight and not eating anything but peanuts and ethanol?

13 mile trails RULE!

:blob5:

That wouldn't be a problem. You could do twice in one day. :bootyshake:

I'm sure I'll be over sometime this winter, once I get a few truck parts lined up over there. It's just far enough to make it a PITA of a drive.

Make sure you let us know in advance so we can schedule a run.

Yeah, what Joe said!!

My stomach hurts from that food earlier. I should know better than to eat junk!!!!!

By the way, if you all want to see any Bernheim trails, I think there are some on the RW training log route section. If I recall, there were some shorter ones but I am fairly certain I made my Bernheim routes public since they aren't around my house. All of my routes near my house are private.

Edit: I just searched "Bernheim" on there and 5 pop up. 3 of those are mine-the Home Run route and the other two longer ones. For some reason, the 8+ one I did last time doesn't show. Maybe I made it private on accident.
