POTC Trilogy would be on my list if it wasn't for the last one. I thought it was poorly written and sloppy. I loved the 1st 2, but that 3rd one disappointed.

Matrix- Not a big fan.

More:

O'Brother, Where art thou
Requiem for a Dream
The Departed
Raging Bull
Goodfellas
Little Miss Sunshine
Sideways
City of God
Pan's Labyrinth

Great list there, I've seen all but O Brother and Raging Bull. But I'd agree, those are among my favorites, especially Sideways, Requiem and Sunshine. :)

Have you ever seen B-13?

You have to see Raging Bull. A masterpiece and to me, Scorcese's best work.

Can't believe I left out Gladiator!

And Val Kilmer played an excellent role! "I'll be your Huckleberry..."

Gangs of New York, Batman Begins, and Sin City =D>

I would have to out the Dark Knight up there. Heath Ledger jumped off the screen in that film.

Kudos for listing Memento!! That is a much slept on classic. I have to disagree with V for Vendetta. I thought it was lacking a pulse. I just couldn't feel it at all. My buddy at work would strongly agree with you, he loves V.

I just feel they nailed Memento... The pace and feel was perfect.

And the whole V for Vendetta deal isn't necessarily because of the action... It's more just the thoughts/discussion it provokes.

You would not believe the amount of time spent discussing movies here where I work... And I know I'm bad, because I cross so many genres with what I watch that I can pick up a discussion with most anyone who has seen a movie.
