 Post subject: I witnessed fast, up close yesterday

so, I'm out doing my 14 mile run yesterday and as I come out of the tunnel on 3rd St....Wesley Korir is out doing his training run and passes me. It's one thing to see an elite runner on TV or see them run by in a race....It's another to see them run right past you as if you are standing still. Make no mistake....that dude is FAST!!

Yeah, I've thought about that many times. It's hard to even imagine being able to run that fast.

Wouldn't it be awesome to make a living doing something that you love?? It's hard work but it would be so fulfilling.

I watched how he ran for as long as I could see him and its just effortless. Not really, but that's the way he looks. Not only is he naturally gifted but he has been trained....his stride is perfect.

I agree, I've seen him flying down Southern Parkway before and it's amazing how he appears to glide across the surface.
