One of my all time favorite races!

Joey actually signed up! And I hope Kathleen will get involved too! Can't wait. I am warning you all that I will suck because I just will but I am still excited!!

My timing sucks! If this were next week, I'd totally be there. Did I hear that right the other day, Kathleen's doing the 5k? You're doing the 10k, right? I'd love another shot at the 10k. I really want to break 1 hour in a race. I'll take 59:59!

I'm really excited about it. My training will be off this week but I got some good speedwork in yesterday. Only thing I'm dreading is I'm going to Bloomington Friday night to watch a Pre-Season NBA game so I will be getting home a little late but at least it doesnt start until 9am.

I'm assuming the route will take us further up that hill at the end. Whew, that could be tough!

Everytime I think of that hill, Joe, I think of you! I was so happy (and sad) when I saw you there!

Lenore, Kathleen is doing the 5K, and so are me and Joey. I am barely in 5K shape, honestly, so 10K is out of the question.

And Joe, some words of encouragement for you--I've done that road a lot since last year's Home Run and each time, I think "what is the big deal?" I remember feeling like it was going to kill me during the race but I've done 2-4 miles there and then taken the road up all the way to the first trail and back and still felt okay! Just remember that it's not as bad as it was that first time--that's all you need to know!
