Hello to all on RunTheVille. I started running just over a year ago and have basically been ate up with it since May logging over 500 miles and running the Bourbon Chase. While Training for next years Mini and Chicago Marathon my paths usually take me to Iroquois/Southern Parkway and the Riverwalk/Louisville Loop both Downtown and the Southwest Farnsley to Greenwood section. Glad to be a part of this community and am thankful our city has so many great places to run.

Welcome Jim and we are thrilled you found us!! You will find an enthusiastic group of runners here who have a great deal of passion for the sport. One of our members, Lenore, is running her 1st Marathon this weekend!! We are so excited for her! Sounds like you have big plans. We have all levels of runners who visit the forum and hope to continue to build this into a full-fledged running network for the Louisville community. I, too, plan to run my 1st Marathon next year and run the Southern Pkwy/Iroquois route frequently. Again, Welcome!

Hi Jim!!!!!!!!! YAY!!

I'm injured but running is still my passion. It sorta feels like it's trying to break up with me but I'm not letting it. :)

Glad you came to say hi, we're actually pretty nuts around here--but nice!!!! Keep posting!

P.S. I've been wanting to run downtown a little more but that'll have to wait until I get better.
