Loved reading your honesty. So many of the blogs I read are about how "fantastic" everyone is doing and how FAST they are running....not much about how hard it is to be a weekend warrior or how to find the time to put it the 25 - 35 miles before a big race. Sometimes life just comes at you and slaps you upside the head. I have found that running has been the great alleviator in many of those situations but there have been others where running had to be put off for "another day" and then pacing begins to suffer and the miles decrease...you know how it is...all I'm saying is thanks for being realistic and honest. My running has suffered tremendously this last year due to personal issues as well and I am now getting back into the swing of things. One of the best things about running is that all you gotta do is just go lace up those shoes and you're back at it again....
